Dr. Erin Keefe

DVM

Dr. Erin Keefe is a native New Yorker from Buffalo and has had a love and interest in veterinary medicine from a young age. She attended Fordham University and received a bachelor’s degree in biology. Her undergraduate studies led her to an interest in research and she began working in a genetics lab where she eventually completed a master’s degree in molecular biology. She received her veterinary degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Dr. Keefe began practicing small animal medicine in Buffalo, NY, and volunteered at the Erie County SPCA, providing care for homeless animals. She has always had a special interest in shelter medicine and has spent a lot of time working in several departments of the ASPCA here in New York City. She is a member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Keefe is excited to be part of the NYC Vet Group and the LIC neighborhood. She truly enjoys improving the lives of animals and their owners and helping to strengthen the human-animal bond.

In her spare time, she loves to travel, practice yoga, ski and spend quality time with her two cats, Bailey and Fiona.
