Covid-19 Updates

WELCOME

Your safety and those of our team are still our priority. We continue to meet or exceed all of the CDC’s guidelines. At this time we ask that everyone entering our facility, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask at all times. We are happy to have you and your loved ones in here with us.

Our commitment during covid

NYC Vet Group is proud to be your family’s health care provider, and we are committed to doing our part to help you and your pet stay safe and healthy during this pandemic.

To this end, we have increased safety measures and implemented operational changes throughout all three of our locations. Clients can feel assured that our clinics are meeting or exceeding all of the CDC’s guidelines by providing PPE to all staff, and increasing the frequency of clinic sanitization.

We are focused on protecting the health and safety of our health care team while maintaining the ability to keep serving your needs. We will continue to do all that we can to uphold the commitments we’ve made to support you and your pet’s health and to help navigate through these uncertain times.

What to expect during your next visit

We are open and we are here for your pet’s needs. At this time, we are allowing masked clients and their pets  in our facility. Our waiting room and exam rooms are open  to the public, however, we require that all people entering our clinic wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. We are still offering concierge curbside service to all clients.

We are continuing to ask that any clients that are feeling ill or have symptoms to please stay home and have a healthy trusted friend or family member bring their pets for their appointments. If this is not an option we are happy to reschedule the appointment or do curbside pickup.

If you decide to do curbside pickup, upon your arrival, one of our veterinary technicians will greet you outside of our main entrance and take your pet inside for the exam. In the meantime, you’re more than welcome to wait outside of our facility, go for a walk, run some errands or return to your home while the exam is underway.

One of our veterinarians will call you after the exam is complete, and review any necessary treatment plans. Curbside appointment payments will be taken over the phone with one of our client service representatives, to provide you with an easy and stress-free experience.

All these necessary steps are done to keep you and our team safe by adhering to social distance recommendations. Communication is very important while taking care of your pet and continuing to maintain social distancing. On behalf of all of us at NYC Vet Group, we greatly appreciate your understanding and vigilance. Stay Safe.

Prescription Food and Drug Refill

All our prescription diets are being processed through our online pharmacy for fast at-home delivery.

We are still filling your prescription drugs but please call ahead for any refills. There are several shortages along with the delayed shipment. Don’t run out and call in advance. We are offering curbside pick up of all prescription drug refills including Flea, Tick, and Heartworm preventative as well as your chronic drugs.

We are pleased to help so feel free to give us a call or visit our online pharmacy.
