The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is the best resource for any animal poison related emergency. They will be able to guide you and the veterinarian with the best course of action and treatment plan based on your pet and their vast database. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you think your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call (888) 426-4435. A $65 consultation fee will be applied to your credit card by the ASPCA. They will make recommendations and document the event. A case number will be assigned for your veterinarian to follow up if needed.
