Lives in Brooklyn
Laura is a native of South Hampton, NY, but was raised in Rockland County, NY where she grew up with a menage of animals that piqued her interest in companion animal ownership and care. She is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University and the Ross School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kennedy is a member of the New York City Veterinary Medical Association, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is also USDA-accredited and certified to fill out international travel health certificates.
Laura owns four, beautiful and healthy (she is a veterinarian after all) cats. All of her pets were rescued. Any of our clients interested in fear free feline veterinary care would do well to ask for an appointment with Dr. Kennedy.
Behavioral Medicine and Dermatology are Interests
Clients who own pets with behavioral issues or skin issues are encouraged to speak to Dr. Kennedy and see how she can help.
And she boxes!
That’s right, she boxes! But boxing is just one of many things she enjoys outside of work along with dancing, cooking and traveling.
