Dr. Mark Landesman received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo, and his veterinary degree from the Université de Liège Veterinary Faculty in Brussels, Belgium. After graduation, he practiced mostly in the humane area, spending several years at North Shore Animal League, the ASPCA and Bideawee.
Dr. Landesman is a member of the New York City Veterinary Medical Association, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. His veterinary areas of special interest include oncology, gastroenterology, surgery, emergency and critical care.
Pets: Dr. Landesman has two rescues. Zack, a lab-terrier mix, and Zack’s best buddy, Rocky, a domestic short-haired cat.
Special interests: In his spare time, Dr. Landesman enjoys running, swimming, biking, and taking advantage of the diverse culture the big city has to offer. In the winter, he is an avid skier spending downtime at his Upstate Catskills cabin.
