Matt is an accomplished advertising and marketing executive, actor and singer, and Certified Reiki Practitioner, who came later in life to the veterinary field, although he has always loved animals since he was very young.
He is a graduate of Macalester College with a double major in Dramatic Arts & Dance and French and is a member of the French Honor Society. During and after college, he studied abroad and lived in Paris.
Matt’s first foray into the veterinary field came about after a morning interview with iHeart radio when he learned of a job opening at Manhattan Cat Specialists and went the same day for an impromptu interview and eventually served as their Office Manager until the pandemic.

Matt is thrilled to be part of the NYC Vet Group team and thrives on helping clients attain the highest quality healthcare for their beloved pets. He has 3 puppycats of his own: Edgar, his 16 year-old senior guy, and Patchie and Punkie, his 4 year-old gurrlz.
When he’s not working, Matt enjoys restaurants, good wine, theatre, music, tennis, swimming, and yoga, and is a total Francophile. He works extensively in the healing arts and performs regularly in cabaret.
