The Google reviews for this upscale boutique located just steps away from the Meat Packing District say it all. The store has an excellent selection of dog toys, clothes, and accessories as well as a mouth watering array of pet treats. Mouth watering? Pet treats? If you don’t believe me, check out their website and call me a liar. it’s not possible to leave this place without a purchase. Super friendly staff as well. My dog drags me to their Hudson Street location and waits at the door. The store has online shopping options.

Brace yourself, with a selection of apparel, beds, harnesses, bowls, carriers, toys, and treats, this place will bow WOW you. There are three locations in New York, one uptown in the 80’s, another one closer to East Side Animal Hospital on 63rd and Lexington, and a third on the west side. The cashmere sweater selection is beautiful, classy, super soft, and comfortable. This rattan dog bed caught our eye. So did their ‘H’ line of collars.
1000 S 8th Avenue, Turnstyle 32 (Underground), at Columbus Circle
The directions on their website read: “Head down any stairs (or elevator) leading to the 59th ST / COLUMBUS CIRCLE Subway stop, and you’ll walk right into the TurnStyle shopping area. We are located on the North end, near Dylan’s Candy Bar and Starbucks. You do not need to enter the Subway system to find us.”

The pet apparel at this store really blew me away. They have these things called ‘Bobble Turtlenecks’ that look gorgeous on my sleek German Shorthaired Pointer, Rye. You should also check out their unique dog bandanas that are anything BUT the traditional tie on handkerchief. While I’m at it, the Kanoa bands are also classy, high quality, and unique. I can’t imagine that you’ll leave without a purchase. Within this store’s wide, unique selection of leashes, harnesses, treats, games, toys, totes, and human retail items, something is sure to grab your eye.

The store in Soho is great, but is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what the store offers online. Zee also sticks out as a store with many loyal shoppers and it’s not uncommon to see the store referenced in the reviews of other high quality pet stores as the standard by which others are ranked. I didn’t buy this store’s featured raincoat (only because my dog would trash it), but it looked great on Rye’s lithe body. I also enjoyed learning about this company’s commitment to the human/animal bond and community involvement. By the way, they have a couple of bow ties at this store that are throw back to the days of barbershop quartets. Really cute.
